“ Quick visit for some pizza! Amazing, super fresh ingredients. Each cheese had its own distinct flavor. I loved the tanginess of the gorgonzola, along with the smokiness of the smoked mozzarella. Service was quick and polite. ”

“ My partner and I had a magical evening at Astarita! We live a few neighborhoods away and it was our first time here. To drink, we ordered the Lambrusco, which was really good, and to eat we had the meatball appetizer and a pie with half vegetable/ half ricotta. It was a ton of food. Everything was so fresh and delicious and clearly made with lots of love and care. Our waitress Paola was so welcoming and lovely and we even got to meet one of the owners who told us about how this space is a true labor of love. We will definitely be back! ”

The Mr. William is as sinfully delicious as it sounds, and I'm not ashamed to say that after first trying it while sharing with friends, I have since returned to order full ones that I enjoy over the course of multiple days because I must exert SOME control. That said, The Asterita has so much more deliciousness on the menu. The meatballs are scrumptious and MASSIVE. Even the salad is excellent. And it's a gem of a spot - intimate in size - with charming decor and staff. The menu, like the space, is small but hella effective in its mission to provide satisfyingly good eats in a chill environment where you can chat and chew at a decent volume (although you may get a little loud from the excitement of your first bites). “ Such a great addition to the neighborhood. Excellent thin-crust pizza with the perfect ratio of cheese, sauce, and crust. Crispy, but with enough chew and flexibility. The pizza holds up well for delivery. What brings it over the top is the fact that people with complex dietary restrictions can eat their pizza! My wife has allergies not only to wheat and dairy, but also rice, which is often used in gluten-free crusts (even cauliflower crust). Astarita's cauliflower crust is totally grain-free! I typically get a regular margherita pizza, and she gets a cauliflower pizza with olives, anchovies, and a bunch of other good stuff. Support this new local business! ”
“ What a cute, cozy spot for delicious pizza! I tried the margherita and it's exactly what I'd want: a great tomato base, generously topped with cheese and fresh basil on a thin, thin dough. Can seat about twenty people inside at a time and you could also order to go! ”
